Hi there!

I'm Brooke - founder of The Stitch Haus. When I first started my Quilting journey in March 2025, I had zero intentions or thoughts of ever opening my own quilting & fabric supply shop. 

At the time, I was based in Perth, WA. I had an incredible assortment of shops to cater for all my needs, not to mention, the vast range they each carried. I was beyond spoilt for choice!

Fast forward to June 2025, I moved back to Regional Victoria and very quickly discovered the lack of resources available out in regional communities. I was having to travel between 4-6 hours every other weekend to source fabric and materials for my projects. It was quicker for me to travel away for a weekend, rather than wait 1-2 weeks for post to arrive. So it got me thinking, why don't I try to fill the gap? If I am struggling this much, then there must be others in the same position. 

No wonder its a struggle for younger people to take up this joyful hobby! My goal behind creating the Stitch Haus is to inspire the next generation to take on sewing through colourful fabrics, fun workshops and a supportive community of like-minded creatives. Sewing doesn't have to be boring or 'old', it is so much fun and there are so many young fabric designers creating new bold, modern fabrics for your projects!

In an addition to The Stitch Haus, I have also started a local community - The Stitch Circle. We welcome people of all ages and skill levels to join us for our sewcial sewing gatherings. Bring along a project, hang out with like-minded creatives in a non-judgemental, supportive space. Needing some help with your projects or even getting started? The Stitch Circle is always growing and evolving. We offer local pick up for our local customers to help expedite the regional postage delays, or pick up from The Stitch Circle Events.
